It's one of the Tedious Sunday in my calender with no friends around, repeated movies scrolling on TV sets, Shivering climate, Skate board roads and more importantly empty wallet makes me stay back at home. Adding some ire as I missed big time @ Group Discussion which happens occasionally during my placement Training sessions. So, I decided to pen down my ire in this form.
And this "Bliss + Dwelling = Mommy" came out strong into mind. Now, unleashing the bonding I used have with my mommy.
Let me disclose the incidents happened recently at my abode.
After moving from Vijayawada (City on Fastrack) to Metro city Chennai. It took us time to adapt. While, Communication is a big deal everywhere I go in Chennai. I had no other way but to learn the local language to survive all out Tamil Nadu. And I started taking on.
But the task is highly out of reach for my mom at home who hardly goes out for shopping. So my onus is to make her learn basic words to manage under difficult circumstances. Somehow It didn't really work. While she makes a note of all the Household Kitchen stuffs. Something like Sambar Parpu, Vengayam, Pottu Kadal, siri parpu and lot many which resembles a tongue twister. But they sound good in some areas.
Till date I witnessed varied conversations with the neighbouring people. But never of this kind. There will be no quarrelling or misunderstandings between. But only English conversation. Which is totally a class act.
After we left for college my mom has to do something to get time passed. So she decided to mix some conversation with the aunty next to my portion. The most unfortunate situation arises when they had some problem with the language. But here it's totally a different scenario. They started conversing in English.
The kind of effort these two put in is just fabulous. Even though they are not good at English they make their points clear every time. It goes good unless I get stuck into their conversation. Once, I reach abode in the evening I get stuck into their conversation which makes me laugh uncontrollably. This is how they speak.
Here are few incidents how I get entertained by their speakings.
Aunty: Ma you having current now.?
Mom: No ma. Current off 10mins over.
Aunty: Oh!! owner come and put motor ah ma??
Mom: No ma. She not came.
Aunty: Water over morning. I no washed dresses also.
Mom: I washed completed. Water over.
Aunty: Seri. What you did in lunch?
Mom: I make fried rice.
Aunty: How you do ma? I do it yesterday.
Mom: Simple ma, put Ginger Garlic paste (Fry it) after put onions, potato, and beans (Boiled). Fry all those with boiled rice. It is over after 15mins.
Aunty: Seri ma.
This is how it goes. I really enjoy their conversation. Sometimes Its hard for me to get what they actually mean. But my bro is too good at catching their intention and clears me what they mean. Finally, My father enjoys it during Sundays.
Here is the snap:
From left to Right: My Granny (Ammuma we call her), My Mom, My Bro MLV. Krishna Chaitanya (Germany Fame) @ Pizza Hut., Ampa Skywalk, Chennai.
At the end. This post is not meant for Hurting anyone. (Especially Mom) Without you my days will be too dry. I believe strongly that you can survive anywhere in this world. You have the quality of talent to make your version clear to others. No matter in what way the others are capable of.
After taking a read at "Welcome to Writer's world" by Preeti Shenoy. I patted my back and thought of to take a look into my previous attempts of making some worthy posts that I made and felt a bit satisfied with the kind of improvements I made. (Not really boasting about myself. I just wanted to say that) Yet there is a long way to go. To be clear with the standards of making posts or writing books, I manged to collect the Info via justamotheroftwo.blogspot.in (Which is where I learn a lot these days) and Thanks to Google for letting me know synonyms and Antonyms. Google is a fantablous user-friendly in Technical terms. And I enjoy it in my Desktop.
Coming to the content, I follow many writers on social Networking and also the official websites which are owned by them. And find it a little strange to see that they keep talking on WC. which stands for Word Count. I mean, They keep tracking up their word counts of the day. And I take a daze. It's totally a writer's arena where they have nothing left with the world to do. It's all up to them. They are freed to express their views on. When I see Preeti making 7256 words in one day It lures me to overcome that milestone. However, I've made 2,108 words on August 19th 2012. My all-time high. Extremely happy to some extent.
In a country of a Billion it's never an easy task to prove your existence and get publicized. After having a keen observation I realized that there are ways to make the news. For Instance, Chetan Bhagat is always surrounded by critics and he also had 2million followers in Facebook as well as Twitter. No other current writer achieved this mark. It happens when one take on current issues. Chetan takes the guard all-time. He get's the attention everywhere. And Finally he is an Icon with celebrity status.
One has to know the Add-on 's and Flaws that comes your way when you are tagged with a Celebrity Status. Celebrities live king-size in our country.
After all I have nothing to say in this post. (That's what the title says) I just made it as a token post for my next post. Many of my friends are expecting me to write blogs which carries love, comedy, and thrill. And I'm looking out for some interesting love stories as majority gets connected with love stories and show great interest in reading those. Recently I came to know one love story which started via Twitter. Currently working on it.
And my proceedings for my first short story "Juveniles Galore" will take it's time to get into public. Because I want to make it really good.
Having a 9 day break from college. So ll try to make at least 3-4 posts in this span. And also making arrangements to create a website of my own. It's not that easy anyway without knowing HTML tags and codings.
Finally, winding up with the last lines.
Not too many people likes non-fiction as It requires a lot patience. So, I'm gearing up to write fictions now.
Every time I choose one particular topic to write on. Unfortunately I get stuck mid way and I ll be starting something new which caught my introspect. This is how it goes and that's the reason behind the lay of this post so titled as "Stupendous Saturday"
It's not like every weekend Saturday. It Got some uniqueness of its own. After all thrashing me out of the contention. It raised some mixed reactions within me. They are as follows.
1. Am I in the Right track???
2. Do I need to be complacent with the way how the things are going??
3. Difference Between Hobby and Passion.
4. Nerds vs Lerds.
5. My Dear Indian Aunties and Uncles please stop snooping around.
6. Is there no other way to survive in this contemporary world if you failed to enter MNC's?
7. Is Failure a climax scene??
8. A Tug of war between 40 and 20
9. I was born Intelligent. But, Education Ruined me.
10. Mediocre vs Unique.
These are some of the questions that flashed in, when I myself decided to take a day off from college. Now, let me provide the explanation as well as solutions for the 10 questions those are proclaimed above. Let's see how different my views are with yours. And finally you say me which category I belong to. Mediocre or Unique?
And Voila!!
Am I in the Right Track??
19 years of age. In which experienced 15 years of Indian Education. And the outcome is simply termed as "Uncertainty". This is what I see everywhere. I have a big question for all of you. Do you know what you want in your life?? A repeated question asked by my dad lot many times. Unknowingly, I go dumb to all such questions. In-fact the reason is we have no idea what we truly want. And even parent's don't. When you are at lows they pin you down with their ideas. You have no other go but to take the bow. And as I find majority of my circle of friends do study for the sake of parents but not for them. Abundant talent is left unused in you. Discover it. Nurture it. Make your points clear every now and then. Place them ahead of your parents and explain them This is What You Truly need. And you can sense the kind of support parents do put on you. Because They want you to get succeed in life. No matter in what way you get that.
Get on to the top.
Do I need to be complacent with the way how the things are going??
As we all know that India is the 2nd largest populated country in the world after China. Having around a Billion mark figure in population stats in the country, I let out a huge sigh. Among a Billion how many have nurtured their own talent and contributed their part.? Very few is all I can say. Just because these successful people will never be complacent with their performances. They get satisfied with their efforts. Here, Complacent is different from Satisfaction. Satisfaction adds incentives with the hard-work you've done. Where complacent takes you head over heels. 95% of Indians are complacent with their doings so that the reason there are no winners but workers. You Aspire to achieve something great in life??? My say is get satisfied with your proceedings but never be complacent.
That's Complacency.
Difference between Hobby and Passion.
Hobby is something which one wishes to do at his leisure time for pleasure. And passion is all about taking it for granted and working on it as a mission. For Instance, In late 2000 where I was totally attracted towards cricket went to my dad and said I want to be a cricketer papa. He then smiled and said It's just your hobby and you can't relate it as your profession. He even clarified me about the flaws in the system with some real-time examples. As I'm just 12 years old that time I barely accepted it. But now with a lot introspect on the current settings in Indian Cricket I have had some multiple feelings for dumping my passion down. Because today's cricket gives you world wide Recognition and Huge amount of money which is the essential Ingredient in today's life. A software job (or) any such jobs will not get that for sure. On the other end, It's all about seizing the opportunity. Competition for a berth in Indian team is never easy to get. Considering the fact that among 1 billion population it always breaks the nerves. Handling pressure, form, fitness and a lot matters.
A Passion.
Keeping that aside. There is competition everywhere. You have to go all-out to squeeze something out of life to achieve success. Every single effort you put in will be added. Believe in yourself. And make your mark. Every Success comes with a TRY.
Nerds vs Lerds
A combined co-ordination between Nerds and Lerds gives a better India. Somehow it is unlikely to happen. Let me give a brief intro about Nerds and Lerds in today's India. Students of certain category comes under nerds and our politicians comes under lerds. Students look for solutions while politicians don't bother of solutions as their motto is to make a healthy argument which takes them no where. I'm a combination of Nerd as well as lerd. Nerds are supposed to be intelligent but socially awkward, lost in equations and formulae and disconnected from the real world. Lerds are liberal. They hate solutions. Lerds can speak about any social issue while Nerds struggle. In the same way try to find out solutions to your problems and don't bother of lerds. They Interrupt the process to happen. Save us from lerds must be the bottom line.
Picture Perfect.
My Dear Indian Aunties and Uncles, Please stop Snooping around.
Without Relations life goes dim and dark. Relations makes you feel happy. It remembers that you have someone for you. And I don't understand where these Aunties and Uncles come from. They keep irking me all time with questions which are totally unnecessary. In-fact these kinda questions do create an impact on us. It happens this way ----> Aunties all gathered at one place and keep blabbering something non-sense. One aunty raises her voice to peaks and says his son is in UK or so and so. And ask about ours. Is that necessary to say what the hell is he doing there? I find it totally nonsense. Can't they shut their stupidity for some time. These days I see lot many parents are out to say that their son achieved this and that. This kind of attitude is something I never liked from the beginning. Indeed it adds extra pressure on the other end and now a days people work for not their sake but for others sake. If this kind of interest they put on themselves rather than snooping around may get them something useful. Aunties and Uncles you better try that way. Leave me for Godsake.
Is there no other way to survive in this contemporary world if you failed to enter MNC's?
We live in a society which rewards the mediocre. I found myself in a bulk of students who are rushing on a busy road. Let's consider Engineering as a National High way road and we are all traveling on a same road. Every year we see enormous amount of students coming out completing their Grad and looking out for jobs on roads. Fortunately, There is a Bypass road available to reach the destination. But no one uses it. Just because they lack backing to take the burl. That's the reason for unemployment in India. If "one says one" that will be the universal fact for others. Unless and until you take your chance you can't get the other end of the world. Finally, There are many ways to survive in this world. I mean a respectable way of living. MNC's are just an option but its not the only resource.
Is Failure a climax scene??
Reason why Students in India commit suicide is they feel like Failure is the end of everything. They are bend out for academic pressures and wordings used by their parents. As (They keep lot expectations on their loved kids) Students take it completely negative when they are at their bottom lows. No matter what you say. They take it in a wrong way. Depression makes them do in such a way. Many end their chapters with a suicide while some take time to reshuffle the past failure and take steps to improve further. Every success begins with a Failure. An old proverb I remember saying. If you didn't fail. You never tried anything new.
And from a movie I recently watched saying the main difference between winning and losing. If you win. You will be introduced to the world. But, If you lose. You get to know what life and world is all about. Sensible lines makes a lot sense. So failure is just the beginning. Not an end.
Just Focus.
A Tug of war between 40 and 20
Here 40 and 20 represents the age groups. Middle age colliding with Teen & Young age. Ideas of these two age groups will never sink each other. Misunderstandings with parents and problems of communication at home arises here. The scenario is very simple. Parents want their kids in their comfort zone. Let me make up this way. There is a T20 match happening around between India and Pakistan. Now, India need 6 runs to win from 3 balls. Mr. 40 wants the game to wind up with a 4 and a double run and win the match with 1 ball to spare. No space for thrill and excitement here. But, Mr.20 waits patiently for something interesting to happen. He wants to leave 2 balls and hit the last ball to a six and win the game. You can win it in any way. But the excitement gets doubled and tripled when you finish it with the last ball. That's what makes a huge difference between these two particular age groups. So times it is good to end up at peak moments coz you will know how to handle nail-biting situations better than others do. If Mr. 40 understands it there will be no problem with this case.
I was born Intelligent. But, Education Ruined me.
This quote is taken from a wallpaper. Indeed that's true. Everyone are born Intelligent. But, some where there are examples that shows Education ruined their life's. Very simple. We are taught right from the beginning in a planned way. We have no freedom to express our ideas and views. At schools our education system hammers out our individual voices and kills our natural creativity. Turing us into servile course material slaves. Our kids are not encouraged to raise their voices in class, particularly when they disagree with the teacher. And of-course no subject teaches us Imagination, Creativity and Innovation. Why would a young hardworking bright student who has the world ahead of him, do something like this, that is commit suicide?? The answer is our constant reverence for the great Institution (and I do believe IITs are great) we forget its dark side. And the dark side is that the IITs are afflicted by the quintessential Indian phenomenon of academic pressure, Probably the highest in the world. (Source : Chetan Bhagat's What Young India Wants )
I felt like to insert a few lines as mentioned inbook which are truly right. His words inspired me.
This is the wallpaper I was mentioning about
Mediocre vs Unique.
The Final Question of the day. I don't want to spread it too long as I can sense that I made a big post of the day. Coming to Mediocre vs Unique. The Ratios of Mediocre people in India startled me. There is no room for taking a chance or making a change. Mediocre people are the ones who work as if its their onus is a burden to make things happen. There will be no spark in the work they do. Unique ones make use of opportunities. They are bound to improve in time. Examples for Unique figures are Steve Jobs, Sachin Tendulkar, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Ambani Brothers, etc.
Happiness you find when you are Unique.
And Finally, Ending up with a touching Video that Inspired many on Youtube.
Voila!!
Thanks for peeping into my post and it's my 1st non-fiction kinda work. Hope you all liked it.
N-Connect 2012 is the 2nd National Conference Organized by MCA, IT, and CSE departments of my college. We organize it every year so that participants from other colleges visit our campus and present their views on Technical terms provided in the pattern. And we call it a Paper Presentation.
Earlier we used to organize symposiums as like other colleges do. But conference is the one which gives highest priority to paper presentation rather than conducting events to make burden even more. That way our college management called off symposiums and started with Conference in the year 2011.
Preparations for Conference started up with a month earlier and being a 3 dept. programme I expected it to be a total feast. But it lacks co-ordination between.
Fact of the matter is none of the students from IT Final year B- Sec took part in this. It didn't surprise me either. Except in Multi-Media Presentation. (Kudos 2 Lavan Giri. At least you played your role better)
Let me take on with the pros and cons of this Conference.
Pros:
1. Multi Media presentation.
2. Awareness on plastic usage.
3. Tender Coconut Surprise visit.
4. Proceedings and the kit.
Cons:
1. Hospitality
2. Compering
3. Lack of Strength in CG's Speech. (It doesn't come under Host's cons but overall Conference)
4. Regular Boasting about our own Institution.
5. Lines used in Multi Media Presentation.
Invitation of our Conference.
The Logo of N-Connect is well connected. In-fact It resembled a professional work. Liked it.
And areas of concern builds up on how good the compering is and how efficient is the speech delivered by the CG plays a lead role in any event. But I'm not that impressed with the duo.
This is my 3rd presence at my college events. 1 symposium and 2 Conferences. Every time I see is same kind of boasting towards the management. Which I consider to be totally Insane.
Hospitality the most sensible part when students from other colleges are here to exhibit their Ideas. And as a unit we failed all together. 4 students from Adhiyamaan Engineering College (If I'm right) are in at 10:30AM into the campus to present a paper on Hacking. It took them 80mins to get rid of the security personals at the Gate. After repeated calls to Mr. New Begin (Head of the Dept. MCA) and also to the Vice Principal of Vel Multi Tech. I still wonder the Gate man is not pleased when the HOD of MCA called to send them in. This is how a typical protocol that strictly followed in our campus. Rush the rules to drain when there is no other go. Rules are meant for the students of VT Group but not for the outsiders. Finally they seized the opportunity they got and sealed 1st Prize in their panel.
Multi Media Presentation of N-Connect 2012:
Coming to MM Presentation they worked out of their skins to make it look attractive. I did look attractive. I sensed all the trio HOD's are excited by seeing their students work on MM when the crowd went on high with the kinda effects they made. Childhood pics of RR and SR startled me.
Vote of thanks is not impressive. How come they pin the onus on the guy who worked all the day rushing to all corners of the campus.?? They must have be thinking on alternate aspects too.
All I can say is there are some basic issues where the committee missed out to take care of. Apart from that all went good. Big round of Applause to all the 3 presidents who made it a collective success.
N-Connect Team lightens.
Presidents of all 3 Depts. with Ms. Sakunthala Rangarajan (Vice- Chairman) and Mr. Rangarajan (Chairman and Founder of Vel Tech Group of Institutions)
Official Introduction about our Conference. From left to Right. Mr. New Begin (HOD, MCA.), Mr. Karthikeyan ( HOD, CSE), Mr. Sulthan Allaudeen (President, MCA), Mr. Rakesh (President, IT), Mr. Vignesh (President, CSE) followed by Ms.Mahalakshmi Kishore (Managing Trustee), Mr. Jayakumar IAS (Chief Guest), Mr. Hemanth Kumar (Principal), Mr. Siddapa Naidu (Student Affairs), Mr. Robert (HOD, IT) and Mr. KVD Kishore Kumar (Director).
Once upon a time, there lived a group of mice under a tree. One
day, a group of elephants came that way and destroyed the homes of all
the mice. Then the king of mice decided to approach the elephant chief
and request him to guide his herd through another route. The elephant
king agreed to this and took another route. And so, the lives of the
mice were saved.
Later on, a group of elephant hunters came and trapped the elephants
in huge nets. The elephant king remembered the king of the mice. He
summoned one of the elephants who had not been trapped to go and find the
king of mice.
After listening to the elephant, the mouse king and all of his
followers cut open the nets trapping the elephant herd. The elephants
were set free.
Moral : A friend in need is a friend indeed.
Probably the first proverb I came across when I was at Age 6. I don't even know the exact meaning that time. But Times changed over years. Met Quite few people who seemed to be long lasting but left amidst.
I used to have a great bonding with the movies that largely based on Friendship. Beginning with Premadesam
"Mustafa Mustafa"
The Best Song Ever composed by Oscar Award Winner "A.R Rahman" Lyrics at its very best. ♥
These Days I don't find too many "Friends for ever" kind of friends. Having said that In a Movie That I watched recently. Earlier people used make use of products and love others. But these days people love products and make use of friends. Don't Agree??? True that.
As Time changes friends do change. It all goes good when you are together. Once you leave apart it gradually goes down. Technology Improves and Relationships Reduce. If there is a co-ordination at both the ends it stays long.
Here are some good friends of mine who kept me Happy all time with their sweet words and crazy doings.
I go Admiring way. It's not in Ascending order nor Descending. It's Just as it is.
After getting into my Engineering life having a conversation with girls dropped drastically. I feel it as a communication gap. Someway It looks like present day girls are bound to attract to mass guys. Whatsoever I have no problem with that.
1. Good Works makes good friends. This is how I got a friend from Bhopal. Named "Parul Gurjar" While working on a Sustainability program organized by Wipro Technologies. My 2nd North Indian Friend. There will be an intro on 1st friend in this post later on. A very good friend. We used to have chat very often. She is passionate about South Indian foods all the time. Specially Masala Dosa and Idly Sambar. Recognized South Indian Breakfast stuffs. Its my absolute pleasure to guide her when she makes her way to South in the coming future. She is Good looking as well.
I couldn't get a single click of her. To make it clear she is on the left side of the pic. When ever we find time we keep yelling about all the happenings of the day. After all I enjoy her company.! Most Interesting part is we never had a phone conversation even though we chat through mobile. It's something that startled me.
2. A skool pal comes from no where into my life and supports me all the way that I'm destined to do something great when people are sniggering behind. we are friends from Kinder Garden and left to other corner's after 8th. We are back to touch in 2011. I wonder whether she remembers me. But she made the same fun when she used to do in school days. I can Tag her as a Talking Tom. She looks bubbly and chubby.
Resembles an upcoming heroine. Right??
I had my first chat with her on August 2nd 2011 which means nearly after 6 long years. Initially I found it a bit difficult to cope up with her after a long break but as time progressed it all went good. We used to have productive chats all time by discussing about the Symposiums and other sort of events related to our Academics which worked partly for me.
One fine day she called me up and screamed about her arrival to the city. So we had our plans open to make up some time as its been long while since we met. She left all that to me as she don't have any idea about Chennai. So its my onus to make them happy. We then made our way to Ampa Skywalk. This time not a window shopping as she owned some books by Durjoy Datta and Nikita Singh. Finally had a break at Mc Donald's where we had a meal and departed back to respective areas. My best time over the last few years.
The most awkward situation arises when your close mate finds that you are with a girl in so and so mall. Unfortunately It all happened to me. Tense moments filling in with hilarious happenings around added some bonus fun that day at Skywalk. Priyanka rewind back once you asked me why laughing so often at Mc Donald's. That's the reason behind it. (My Friend Named Mounish watching us )
Finally her attitude is something I really liked. The way she speaks is Fantabulous. She believes me badly. All I can do is giving my very best to stay up to her belief. Surely ll never let it go in vain.
3. Here we go with the 3rd and final Fortunate Amigo. Srestha Chakraborty who rescued me when I'm about to hate Twitter. It's just because you can't manage to keep tweeting unless and until there is a tweet back. She is my all-time best Twitter mate. She makes me go mad with her framing and wordings. Initially I had to take my time to get adjust with her language. Such a great skills she acquire. Bewildered by knowing that she is a girl of class 11 and tweeting in such matured way.
My 1st North Indian friend as well as first friend in Twitter. Tweeting to her is a good learning experience for me. It always feels special to learn something from young guns. One thing I failed to achieve is learning Bengali from her. She rarely finds time to teach me coz her schedule is totally packed with Tutions and school. Even then she finds time to mention me when ever she comes online. My cute little sister ♥ Thank you!! :)
Now It's time to wind up my post so titled as "Fortunate Amigos" which is supposed to be posted on Friendship day but Unfortunately couldn't make it.
Wish These Tremendous 3 remains as good friends forever. Love ya ♥ ♥ ♥
30th July 2012. It's a Super Sunday which ended up by costing 33 lives who traveled in S11 Coach of Chennai Bound Tamil Nadu Express. The worst Disaster ever. Rooting from New Delhi to Chennai. It has to cover Andhra Pradesh to Reach Chennai. Not everyday will be ours. This Incident raises whole lot of questions to Govt. as well as Ministry of Indian Railways (Mr. Mukul Roy).
This opens up the contest between Opposition Parties and the UPA Govt. There are Condolences from Both the ends. But Who is responsible for this to happen??
Every time there is an Incident of this kind Govt. Come up with Apologies and end up with Ex-gratia. A 2 lakh is what they put on one life. Is this the same amount they put on themselves If it happens to their close aide?? This is how Indian System works.
After 9 long years a man from T-Congress chips in as a replacement for Mamata when she sworn in as Chief Minister for the State of West Bengal. All I expected is good days are on for Indian Railways. But It's just an Illusion.
Dinesh Trivedi Came up with a Railway Budget which makes Railway a better way to travel by raising the ticket fare to some reasonable extent. As This Provides safety and Assurance for Passengers. The govt. is no where in this world to accept that and fired him out of the Ministry and got Mukul Roy who is at Shipping Ministry that time.
Things haven't changed from then. It became worse. Led to TN Express Disaster. The Gutted bogie of S11 looks horrifying. Bodies are left un-identified.
After 4 days Initial Investigation all they can say is we need to sort out things. No exact explanation on how It all happened? One say It's a short circuit and the other say It's a blast. Thank God! If it's proved as a blast the issue will be diverted. (This is how Officials do their Duty)
That's that's why Accidents in India are Inevitable. Govt. Plays a foul game every time.
Today's Victims are someones. Tomorrow It may be your close ones. So Think of It and Act according to it. Making or Breaking is up to people to decide.
With all due Respect I ll advance my chances of posting my views to make a sense around. Just because I don't wish this to happen anymore. Not too many people are aware of things happening around them. So It's time to take a toll on Govt. Raise your voice is all I can Say.
